HAPPENSTANCE PC Game Description

The story of Happenstance is set on a fictional dystopian society of Mid-City. It starts off as a simple “press this key” but through the course of the game, it will become more complex like building up your reprocessing bar while trying to click at disappearing objects. It is a 6 chapter visual novel about the Main Character who stumbles upon an unnatural power to process and reprocess past and present events giving him more insight and knowledge on how to better proceed with his life. Be warned though, Happenstance contains very dark themes.

Mid-City is not like other places, though it is one of the most advance cities in the world of Happenstance, yet it suffers from a disease. The game also features intuitive quick-time events related to the mastery of your power. It’s entire population is segregated into the three parts of the city: Lowtown, Midtown and Uptown. You, as the player, was born in Lowtown and with the help of your power, you will try to make your life, as well the ones you love, better.
