RESEQUENCED is a 3D open-world adventure game focused on story, exploration and combat. You play as a college student named Lux Heart, who goes to her parents ’rural home during the summer break, only to find they are missing out. While investigating their disappearance, she revealed their relationship with the mysterious underground agency, The Reduction Commission. Using the Commission’s earned alien technology, her DNA has been modified and resembled, equipping her with extraordinary abilities.

Lux can fight DNA modes, which are essentially superpowers, divided into four classes: incineration, freeze, shock, and invoke.
She can also use guns. Currently, four gun types are defined: pistol, sniper rifle, shotgun and assault rifle.
Weapons can be upgraded using weapon parts that can be stolen from fallen enemies and found in crates kept throughout the game. Up to six weapon features can be upgraded, including damage, reload speed, range, and so on.

Each level contains tasks (eg “delete promotional posters”) that can be used to earn XP. You can also earn Lux XP by completing challenges (eg “kill 10 enemies with a sniper rifle”).
There are many types of enemies. We won’t spoil the journey here, but once you get into the story, you’ll understand why there are so many different creatures from myths, urban legends and horror.
The game features 12 different environments, including a desolate nuclear test facility, a detached Chinese spacecraft, a post-apocalyptic town, a Middle Eastern desert, underground caves, snowfields and more.
